Even though the Northeast saw some snow this week, spring is just around the corner. Here is a quick checklist of some easy things you may want to tend to outside your home.
- Check for loose gutters and downspouts, new gutter spikes are easy to install with a strong ladder and a buddy to spot you.
- Inspect your landscape for damage to trees and bushes that may be at risk of falling. Buy a good tree pruner and cut off loose limbs.
- Look for uneven pavement or crumbling walkways from winter ice and salt use. Try concrete patch before calling a pro.
- Inspect your garden beds and decide if you are needing mulch this season, may save $$$ with early orders.
- Drag out your mover and trimmer, turn over the motors, have them serviced early if needed.
- Sweep off your entry way and treat yourself to a new welcome mat.
- Garnish your door step with a pot of hardy spring pansies.
